I organized a stay for 32 people at the end of August. The hotel staff were delightful (from front desk to catering to management; I dealt with all of them).

The rooms are clean and well kept with a traditional wooden Castilian style and the premises in general have a great old castle atmosphere. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options (some in my group missed porridge and commented on the lack of creaminess of the scrambled eggs... these are really minor quibbles, overall they liked both choice and quantity).

The catering service is awesome. The chef can accommodate your needs in no time. He cooked a paella for us that was out of this world.

The chill-out room in floor -1 is just incredible. The suits of armor and decoration are just great. It's worth stopping there on your way to breakfast to take a couple of pictures.

On top of this, the hotel is in a great location, right in front of the Alcazar and a short walk from Plaza de Zocodover, Calle del Comercio (where all the shops are) and the Cathedral (where you want to go). The prices are also very competitive compared to others I checked when I shopped around.

Overall, five stars well earned; no less.

Room Tip: Rooms that face the Alcazar have a better view but are a bit noisier. Rooms that face the back are quiet but you only see a side street

Lots of bad stuff about this place . Old style , yes it's supposed to be air con not very good etc . If you want luxury go to new American hotels , but if you want style and old fashioned Spain we'll come here .
Breakfast is very good and you get a discount for parking in local carpark .They do like to pack them in so might be a bit of a squeeze . Some rooms have a good view sadly we only had nets to stop the pigeons.
Right in the centre so a great place to start . Best early or late summer as it gets very hot . So of good places about but look at prices first as some are very very expensive

The hotel is placed on a higher part of the city which is centrally located. Me and my sister stayed in room 216 where we had a big balcony with a beautiful outlook on Toledo. The room itself was quite spacious. Perfect for 2 people. The bathroom was normal with a bath with a showerhead attached to the wall.

Breakfast was in a very nice looking room in the basement where it was nice and cool to sit.

Definitely a good hotel to stay with enough facilities to complete your stay.

The best os the top locarion in the downtown in front of the Alcazar.
We get there by car, there are 2 private parkong area but with a discont car realised by the hotle, you can soend 14€ per day instead of 19,20€. The style of the hotel is quite old but really interesting remembering the Mediaeval Age. The staff was ok nothing to say....

Old fashion hotel with old style,it has good location, you can go to the old town by walking but for visiting the other castle and historical place you have to use the car or hop in,hop off. The quality of the breakfast was not good and it has souvenier shop which you can find some hand craft of toledo,i bought statue and when i go to shopping street i find the statue 10 euro cheaper than the hotel's shop.by the way for one night it was ok
