“Nice display, poor service, expensive but very good products!”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Very attractive display that invites you in but once there you get overcharged for the same quality you could have found somewhere else. The marzipan products are very good and freshly made by the dominican nuns but they´re very expensive.

“Delicious marzipan tart”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We had delicious marzipan tart. Coffee was good and tea served in a glass with a very fancy filter. I read here reviews complaining about rude staff and other ones praising it. Let's say that some ladies were unhelpful to say the least, slow and useless. The next day we had a young waitress, cheerful and polite, moving like greased lightning. Looks like they need to sort out the bad apples, who ruin their reputation. On the whole, can't wait for another opportunity to have that tart!

“Good Pastries, clean”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Traveling in Andalusia, the pastries can be a little disappointing. For this reason we were happy to have the light and tasty croissant here, and also the moist, tasty marzipan torte. I see other reviewers who said the staff was not friendly, but we were welcomed warmly, if not effusively. They put up with our rowdy backgammon wars. For Spain it is not cheap, but its on a tourist street in a world heritage center... What do you expect? I would return.
