Our preferred Restaurant in Toledo was closed Sunday (most Restaurants in Toledo are) so we walked through the pedestrian street of Toledo and came upon this one. We wondered why the restaurant was empty at 9.30 pm, but now we know why. A few people were watching football at the bar in front but the quite big restaurant at the back was complete empty. Ordering the Daily menu, 2 cannon balls were thrown on the table. Looked like bread but could kill anyone if they were thrown at them. Out went the bread to be replaced with 2 flutes. Next came, Macaroni with Meat sauce, and more sauce than meat. Next. Entrecotes. Full of Grease, fat, blood and not even half cooked with something looking like chips swimming in oil. Off they went, back to the kitchen. We wouldn´t even touch it. In came 2 new ones, a bit better cooked and of a little better quality, the two first ones had none. Third. We had now given up on this restaurant and when being offered Ice-cream we went for that. 2 cones from the nearest supermarket were thrown in. 6 pack for 1.99 euro as we knew them from our local Carrefour supermarket, as we are using them ourselves for the kids. While we were waiting for the bill, two Chinese women had arrived. They were now busy cleaning their glasses and plates with their serviettes. Our bill (not cheap) was wrong and it followed everything else the way back to where it came from for corrections.
