“A touch of French cooking in Toledo”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We had one of the best meals of our two week trip in Spain at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, with a definite French flair. It is just outside the busy tourist zone, but well worth finding if you want a meal to remember.

“Great end to our stay”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

It certainly pays to leave the tourist areas and find this restaurant. We had a very enjoyable meal here for our last evening in Toledo. Atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. Staff were attentive, warm and friendly. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Complimentary liqueur and delicious biscuit to finish the meal was a nice surprise. Would definitely return.

“Good food in a quiet location.”

We went to this restaurant following the recommendation on this site. It is essential to book of you want to take advantage of the area of al fresco eating. The service was excellent and the food very good. This restaurant would also be good for lunch when one could enjoy the view.

“Excellent Spanish food, attentive service and good value- reservation essential.”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

What a pleasant find! Menu del dia was around €30, three courses, inc. wine, plus little amuse bouches and a digestive thrown in - great value. I wanted a clean meal and the copious green salad followed by baked hake was just the job. Many traditional Toledo dishes, all presented well. Outside dining on the terrace, although the night we went, it was warmer inside. Very good service. Worth a visit, but book first, as many people were turned away.

Outstanding restaurant, modern cooking using quality local ingredients, the sort of food you'd find in a trendy capital city rather than a provincial town in Spain. Lamb stuffed with foie gras was delicious, excellent wine, good service and atmosphere. Probably the main reason I'd consider returning to Toledo.
