“Funky and tasty”

My Santanderian friends reccommended this restaurant and we had lunch with our kids. It is a small, modern and tasty place tucked away on one of lovely streets downtown Santander. Service was good, food was excellent and the price was quite acceptable. Menu del dia or lunch menu was 16.5€ and that would satisfy most visitors.
I would highly reccommend this place for a casual lunch.

“Highly recommended”

We went there as a group of 5. We selected this place based on tripadvisor reviews while walking around in that area. We reached there at 8pm, however the kitchen starts only at 8:30pm. Hence, we were able to reserve a table. While eating there, we saw that place completely filled up by 10pm (which seems to be usual dinner time :)).

We are glad that we chose this place. The best thing about the place are the friendly people. None of us spoke Spanish and they were very accommodating and helpful, and tried their best to help us in English. The food and the drinks were also good. We tried a variety of items and everyone was happy with all that we ate and drank. They also prepared off-the-menu non-alcoholic cocktail for me :)

“Young and fun !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

We ate here in our only night out in santander and had a great experience. We arived without reservations which can be a problem because its a very popular and small restaurant. Guillermo (probably the upstairs restaurant manager) was very accomodating and even called us on our cellphone when our table was ready.
We had chipirones with soya and modena which we are still dreaming about, so defenetely to try! If you are italian don't order the noodles, although the flavour was great, they were overcooked.
We were served very well and the decor is fun , modern and young . Defemtely a good experience !

“Modern decoration and delicious food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

This restaurant is located aptly in one of the most popular streets to go out for dinner in Santander and they offer great Mediterraean dishes displayed and cooked in a very sophisticated way. We tried delicious grilled and "onioned" calamari, mushrooms croquettes with a sweet sauce, a salad and octopus and prawns ceviche. Everything was tasty and delectable but the coulant that I had as a dessert was exquisite. We also ordered a bottle of Cantabrian white wine, which was quite good too. We paid around 20 Euros each. The dining room, which is decorated in a very modern way looking at the street and separated from the kitchen by a transparent window, is not very big so you should book a table early or you may have to eat on a counter. If you prefer it you can have some pinchos or tapas in the bar downstairs. The waiters are very helpful and friendly.
