“GREAT RESTAURANT!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012

The food is great at this restaurant and it also serves terrific cocktails from the Copacabana Bar it is linked with, alongside it. Waiters are very friendly and remember you from previous visits, making you want to return.

“Good choice!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2012

great food for good prices, round the corner of charco square, close to everything but far enough from the noise and confusion, even my boyfriend, who is EXTREMELY picky wanted to eat there twice, we tried fish and meat and desserts, everything was good. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, is because the king praws were not perfectly "cleaned". Service was fast and waiting staff was helpful, we have a 1 year old we fed at the table with his own food and they offered to wash his plate. We recommend the restaurant to other people and they thanked us after eating there.

“Disaponingly bad service!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2012

Selected the restaurant after the reviews here. But this was less than an average restaurant in Puerto.
We had the Rabbit and the food was fine, no more, no less, average for Puerto restaurants.
The disappointing thing is the service. A restaurant lacking any service can't deserve any rating over 3.
We was seated and they took our order pretty quick and we got our food and wine but then all attention ended! Not once did they come by to ask if everything was okej, the food could have used some salt and pepper as it was a tad blend. But no, not even a look in our direction from any of the waiters.

After finishing, they never came to ask if we wanted anything else by the way, so no desert this evening, We had to chase hold of a waiter to ask for the bill. After waiting another twenty minutes we had to go inside to pay and the staff only looked at us with surprise, no apology or anything! So all together a very bad restaurant experience.

“Beautiful Shoulder of Lamb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2012

We ate at La Marea on the saturday of Carnival. It's just off the old square and has a nice atmosphere. We had the house special of slow cooked shoulder of lamb, which was beautifully tender and a nice bottle of Faustino VII - job done!

“Shame”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2012

Started off well dining in street warm evening, ordered food and wine ,wine not very good waited an age for 2 basic salads an hour main course another half hour no explanation at this point, staff not sure what was going on. When we paid a waiter said something about lack of staff too late damage done. This place was highly Hyped in write ups this might have been a one off but i doubt it.
