we just got back from a week at this hotel it is part of a 3 hotel complex we stayed in the Bonanza Palace food was excellent, staff were great, rooms are massive and spotless. I cannot praise the place enough, we have an 8 year old and the nightly entertainment for kids is great,

Room Tip: Bonanza Palace rooms are massive.

After reading the reviews, we went with an open mind. On first sight, the building is far from attractive, but the reception area was clean and spacious. Our room on the fifth floor was ample in size. We initially booked a sea view, but our room faced the mountains, which was actually a fabulous view and we got the sun all day long. The sea view rooms would have had very limited sun, if any at all. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was good with plenty of choice, but the fruit juice was of the processed type and not fresh fruit. We found the location on the hillside quite good and got used to the 100 or so steps into town. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but found the buffet at Masuru excellent value at 11 euros

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view could be cooler, but rooms facing the mountains have a more dramatic view and...

Just got back from a week in the blue sea interpalace, I have to agree with other reviews that it is more a 3 star than a 4 star, the hotel on the whole is clean and perfectly acceptable albeit a little tired, it's short of new carpets, paint, etc.., in truth a little tlc. We were all inclusive, in the day you help yourself to your own drinks etc from the pool bar. Which is meant to close at midnight, but actually closed at 7pm every night, the food in the restaurant is fine but a tad repetitive, the night bar is ok, drinks are served by bar staff, last orders 11.30. The entertainment is woeful. Booked the tennis court to play doubles but they only had 2 racquets, pool is fine, wifi available at a fee. You cannot take food or drink out of the restaurant even if you are all inclusive. They either take it off you or put a charge to your room. on the whole the hotel is satisfactory , no more than that, not as bad as some of the reviews on tripadvisor state, but I can see where they're coming from.

Just returned from an enjoyable holiday at Blue Sea Interpalace. We had a lovely time although I was disappointed that they wanted payment for internet when all the bars around gave free access. They also wanted payment of 1 euro each time you wanted clean beach towels! The rooms were clean and spacious but could have been serviced more often - I had to ask to have ours cleaned on two occasions. I agree with Tracey V that the carpets were stained and threadbare in places but we weren't living in the corridors!! The food was acceptable given the price we paid. We always like to dress for dinner and even though there is a notice at the dining room doors to say beachwear wasn't acceptable many diners looked as if they had just come in from the pool! This hotel is shared by 2 other hotels so some days it was impossible to get sunbeds even though the others had their own pools. The drinks and snacks at the pool were good too. I don't think the hotel warrants 4 stars but if the interior was spruced up and worn carpets replaced maybe it would make a 3 and a half! We were on the 6th floor and had great views over the mountains and the sun all day - nice to sit out with a drink before dinner. There was a piano but no pianist and only one bar open. There are three in the brochure!

Room Tip: The higher rooms offer better views of either the sea or the mountains.

Stayed with my girlfriend for our first sun holiday. When you first arrive after an hour transfer from the South Airport the building looks dated and very imposingly big, however as soon as you get into reception you find it is all decorated lovely and there is no reason to worry.

We had a room situated on the 6th floor with a sea view which made a great sight to wake up and go to bed to, the room itself was clean although the carpet was a little worn, we had a telly with just BBC world news unless your fluent in German or Spanish. There is a safe deposit box in the wardrobe however there is a charge for it. The Bathroom was spacious and well maintain with a good pressured shower.

We went all inclusive, the resturant gave a wide selection of food from english classics, continental and native menus (You could have chicken nuggets for breakfast) the Bar was a "serve yourself" with a lager tap and bottles of spirits just placed on a table (good times)

The pool and entertainment were as expected and there was nothing much to write home about but for the price (£350 each for 7 nights all inclusive) we werent to disapointed.

All in all a very surprisingly adequate exprience for the price, would we return.....I wouldn't have any reason not to

Just returned from a really relaxing holiday at the Blue Sea Interpalace and really enjoyed ourselves, After reading other reviews I was certainly a bit apprehensive about the hotel but was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Admittedly the corridor carpets are a bit worn and stained but unless you are planning to sleep in the corridor why complain. Room was very clean as was the bathroom, maid service every other day when towels were changed. Food was very good with a wide variety of choices.
We chose a quiet part of Tenerife and the shopping nearby was enough for touristy stuff. Free shuttle bus to main shopping centre was helpful - as in previous reviews the steep climb back would have required medical assistance in the heat!!!
Self-service drinks went down a treat - even though it WAS always the Brits who tried to get served after bar had closed!
Entertainment was the worst part but that didn`t bother us anyway.
I really don`t know what people expect as this holiday was value for money without doubt.

Can I just say we had a great room 616 over looking the sea, the food was very good. help yourself drink very good [some Brits very rude to staff and other guest ] the entertainment staff did what they could [ well done Patrick]..what do people want they pay very little, in England you would only get B&B FOR 3 NIGHTS, FOR WHAT WE PAID FOR 10 DAYS AI.
Now the shuttle service is on Mon - Friday and FREE, taxi is only 3.60 to 4 euros each way, safe is 3 euros a day, take a look outside the hotel, bars 5 euro drink well worth a look, can I just say the staff are very good if you need them they are there if not they will leave you alone just what I like... Stop moaning and enjoy your holiday,,,,,, you get what you pay for and I paid for a good holiday and had one .... Thank you to all Staff & Management x

Room Tip: 616 good room
