Stayed with my girlfriend for our first sun holiday. When you first arrive after an hour transfer from the South Airport the building looks dated and very imposingly big, however as soon as you get into reception you find it is all decorated lovely and there is no reason to worry.

We had a room situated on the 6th floor with a sea view which made a great sight to wake up and go to bed to, the room itself was clean although the carpet was a little worn, we had a telly with just BBC world news unless your fluent in German or Spanish. There is a safe deposit box in the wardrobe however there is a charge for it. The Bathroom was spacious and well maintain with a good pressured shower.

We went all inclusive, the resturant gave a wide selection of food from english classics, continental and native menus (You could have chicken nuggets for breakfast) the Bar was a "serve yourself" with a lager tap and bottles of spirits just placed on a table (good times)

The pool and entertainment were as expected and there was nothing much to write home about but for the price (£350 each for 7 nights all inclusive) we werent to disapointed.

All in all a very surprisingly adequate exprience for the price, would we return.....I wouldn't have any reason not to

Just returned from a really relaxing holiday at the Blue Sea Interpalace and really enjoyed ourselves, After reading other reviews I was certainly a bit apprehensive about the hotel but was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Admittedly the corridor carpets are a bit worn and stained but unless you are planning to sleep in the corridor why complain. Room was very clean as was the bathroom, maid service every other day when towels were changed. Food was very good with a wide variety of choices.
We chose a quiet part of Tenerife and the shopping nearby was enough for touristy stuff. Free shuttle bus to main shopping centre was helpful - as in previous reviews the steep climb back would have required medical assistance in the heat!!!
Self-service drinks went down a treat - even though it WAS always the Brits who tried to get served after bar had closed!
Entertainment was the worst part but that didn`t bother us anyway.
I really don`t know what people expect as this holiday was value for money without doubt.

Can I just say we had a great room 616 over looking the sea, the food was very good. help yourself drink very good [some Brits very rude to staff and other guest ] the entertainment staff did what they could [ well done Patrick]..what do people want they pay very little, in England you would only get B&B FOR 3 NIGHTS, FOR WHAT WE PAID FOR 10 DAYS AI.
Now the shuttle service is on Mon - Friday and FREE, taxi is only 3.60 to 4 euros each way, safe is 3 euros a day, take a look outside the hotel, bars 5 euro drink well worth a look, can I just say the staff are very good if you need them they are there if not they will leave you alone just what I like... Stop moaning and enjoy your holiday,,,,,, you get what you pay for and I paid for a good holiday and had one .... Thank you to all Staff & Management x

Room Tip: 616 good room

My boyfriend and I came here for 8 days, and were not expecting much considering the reviews on here, but we had a great time! The rooms were massive, the bathroom was lovely and we had an incredible view of the mountains from our balcony. Food was up to standard, not amazing but there was always a large selection, and always something to choose from! The pool was clean, but the lifeguards were a bit useless and quite rude. Most of the reception staff were wonderful, seeing as neither of us spoke Spanish we were expecting them to be quite snappy, but this only happened with one particular guy! They offer a free shuttle bus into the town which is great. Entertainment was awful, but we still had a good time! The only thing I would really complain about is the help yourself drink system they had in place. We had an absolutely wonderful time, really don't understand what everyone is complaining about!

Room Tip: try to get a room high up for the best views!

My family and I were booked into this hotel for September. After reading some less than complimentary reviews we changed our booking to another hotel. Am I glad we did ! I was determined to have a look at this hotel so we walked ( a steep uphill climb well out of town centre) to have a good look around. It was far worse than I had feared. We saw a single mattress dumped on a balcony, on other balconies were rusting picnic tables. The main foyer had an old threadbare settee and there were several pieces of shabby old fashioned furniture scattered throughout on landings and in alcoves. The pool area was small and crowded with cheap plastic picnic furniture, the pool itself appeared dank and unwelcoming and two sad looking pool tables had hand written out of order notices taped across them. This was quite definitely the worst hotel I have ever seen, it resembles an Eastern European holiday camp and I am amazed that it is open for business - it would appear to fall well below current acceptable standards. I am so pleased that we did not end up here and if I can warn anyone else off I am happy to do so.

don,t normally write reviews but had to this time. do people only go on holiday to moan there is nothing wrong with this hotel yes a bit dated but how long do you spend in your room staff where nice enough apart from the girls on reception a bit stroppy but the men didn,t seem to have that problem, and as for the food been to lots of a/c but this was good and I,m a very very fussy eater if there was nothing meat wise there was always chips for a butty and drinks first a/c that iv,e been to where you help yourselves to spirits as well as the lager or soft drinks, so what are you all complaining about enjoy the holiday and the sun.

Room Tip: we had room facing mountain lovely view (551)

I have just arrived back from a week in this hotel. My first impression was it was awful: room smelt musty, did not feel clean and we were given two single beds instead of the double we booked! Also the balcony was right by the road on ground level. However we were refused a room change, with the excuse that the hotel is full. The room grew on me, but the food was poor mass produced reconstituted stuff. The pool was not clean and the carpets are very worn down. It seems like a resort that has passed its hay-day.
Make sure you make the most of the other facilities in the other two hotels; although only 1 out of 3 saunas worked, the "gym" barely had anything in it and most machines were broken and the "spa" was all out of order except an also unclean steam room. The reception staff barely spoke any english and were very abrupt rude and unhelpful. When I asked for clean towels 3 days in the man gave me 2 hand towels, which were taken away by the cleaner the next day. The towels were simply folded again and not replaced throughout our stay. There is an additional charge for T.V and wifi. Our door was broken as the lock part in the wall had been ripped out previously and not replaced, after an hour of waiting a man came to fix it, which he did temporarily, but it is still not fixed! Overall I would not recommend this hotel as it would not make even one star by British standards, however the island is nice, particularly the south, so I;d recommend staying in Los Cristianos.
