2 18 year old girls first time away we didnt intend to stay here but the company messed up our bookings so wasnt too sure what we was getting ourselves in for!.. On arrival we were a bit shocked from the outside it looks a bit out dated but inside was very clean and what i thought typical tenerife decor.

food was good always something to eat and plenty of it lots of salad and meat and always good old pasta and chips if ur fussy. Waiters were brilliant spoke little english besides one called jorge a lovely lovely man who made our trip fab.

The pool was nice and clean, the indoor one wasnt used due to good weather so cant comment. The pool side bar is serve yourself so can drink as much as you want. The maids came everyday and towels and bedding regularly changed.

The hotel is in a quiet area a bit of a walk to the beach which has a lovely pool which is a deadly sun tap BE WARNED!!.. lots of shops and resturants to visit. didnt go to much of the entertainment the guys tried their best most of the guests are german spanish or french but they cater to everyones taste.

Overal fabby stay couldnt fault the hotel! .. only problem was that the staff didnt speak much english which was a bit of a pain but hey. would visit again if i wanted a quiet get away

The hotel is dated, but very clean, maids every day, the food is good always something to make the meal up with, waiters very attentive, no problems with reception as I didn't need it with nothing to complain about. The evening entertainment leaves a bit to be desired for anyone with young children. The hotel guests are multi national so it caters for all not just British.

My partner and I arrived very excited for our first holiday together. The reception was rude. He was not happy I refused to leave my passport at the desk. I dont know why anybody would! They were just left out in the open in view and reach of everybody. We then went to our room and the key didnt work. When I returned to reception they told me to use the card they had given me, however there was no card slot on our room. I was spoken to like an idiot by a second receptionist when I mentioned this, but I was proven correct. They repaired the lock and we entered our room. We were greated with 2 single beds both made seperately...not in line with the holiday I had in mind. Although they were pushed together they moved apart constantly. The TV was 30cm and old. Poor TV recception, not that we watch it much anyway. No minibar, if you want a drink you have to order from reception. Stained worn carpet and linen. It was clean enough and the cleaning staff were very pleasant. There was one receptionist called Domingo who was extremely helpful. He tried to assist us as much as possible. He did his best to redeem the hotel. The pool was nice but you have to pay a deposit for old towels. There are some nice little shops near by and a nice bar.

We had a fantastic holiday but pretty disapointed as we paid extra for a 'fancy' hotel and were let down.

In short:
- worn down hotel
- dirty
- not a good service
- terrible beds
- busy roads on both sides of the hotel

We had booked and paid in advance for a seven-day stay. Upon arrival they had
some trouble to find our reservation (computers have not yet arrived here to help them
with the bookings). At the end we had to stay in the room equipped for wheelchairs for
the first night and we were promised we would get another room the next day.
Normally these special rooms are just fine, but this one was sitting next to the
generator of the hotel and we could not sleep because of the switching on/off during
the night. The bathroom was not very well designed and a shower resulted in a local
flood (no shields whatsoever).
After a bad night I went to the lobby to ask back my passport and the other room they
had promised. They were not very friendly at all. Told me that it was not possible.
After insisting for some time they told me I had to stay at the hotel until 1PM and they
would give me another room. I told them I had plans for the day and did not want to wait.
At the end we could leave our luggage at the desk and get the new keys for the room
in the afternoon. But this took 20 minutes of hassling!

The beds in the new room where terrible and at least 30 years old, just like the stained carpet in the room and rest of the hotel. The breakfast was terrible. The dinner low quality and not a lot of variation. The roads on both side of the hotel are quite noisy.

Even though we had paid for the full week, we tried to get another hotel but the island was packed.

This is not a four star hotel and should at least be renovated.

This hotel is not bad. The rooms are nice, large quiet and the beds comfortable.
It’s in a reasonable location, and I love 1970's buildings.
But try to use your laptop and you can basically forget it. We booked for 7 nights and left after 5.
Indeed there was WiFi, but we were expected to pay 6 euros a day to use it. When I asked the staff to give me a more reasonable rate in view of the fact that we were staying a week - they did not get back to me. I asked 3 times.
It was only on the last day that one of them gave me the code for the WiFi in reception.
This caused no end of trouble as everything is done on the laptop these days. We had a comical scene trying to book an alternative hotel - which we had to do in a local bar which had WiFi and then of course the laptop ran out of batteries half way through. It was a total mess.
Also, we were shocked to see that guests were eating dinner in the hotel.
This was mostly because, frankly, after having to eat breakfast, you would have thought they wouldn't be able to face an evening meal in the same place.
The restaurant is reasonably presented but the food is dire. We missed breakfast twice thankfully and on the third visit, managed to work out that the hot chocolate and the sliced tomatoes on toast were the best (only) option.
The whole breakfast operation needs to be reviewed. They are offering too much food; too great a range and at a far too low quality. Undrinkable coffee. Jam with no relation to fruit etc etc.
Also, the guests were making sandwiches out of the bread and meats for their lunch and then taking them out - so they had a problem with over-consumption. This might have given them the impression that the food is good. That would be an incorrect assumption, it really isn’t.
All in all it was a disappointing stay.

We got a great deal in this hotel. It supposed to be 4 star but realistically its not. The lobby is lovely but throughout the hotel the carpet is quite worn. We did have a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the street and the pool. There was also plenty of sunshine coming into our room but guests at the back of the hotel could have a view of another hotel which is closeby. Breakfast was a buffet and there was always a good selection. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds about the place.
Most of the guests are elderly couples and mostly from Germany. Not the place to go if you are looking for a lively hotel. There is a free regular shuttle bus to a shopping centre down town

The hotel is not much to look at and on first glance you would prefer to be one of the two other hotels in the Hotasa chain across the road. Both the Bonanza and the Canarife Palace look much more appealing. On the inside the hotel is much better. The place is clean and spacious and the rooms are really nice with a fridge and good, quiet air conditioning and either a balcony or terrace. None of the rooms overlook the complex so you'll either have a view of the sea or the other two hotels across the road and the mountain behind.
The food was good and there was plenty of choice. The salad bar was always well stocked and there was always a choice of a freshly prepared meat or fish each night cooked in front of you.
The pool was a good size and you didn't have to get up too early to get a sunbed. The all inclusive package was very good. Beer on tap to pour yourself, all the spirit bottles and food at the pool bar to help yourself. There's burgers, hot dogs, pizza, salad, rolls, cake and ice cream available from 10 till 7 at the pool bar.
The entertainment was a bit rubbish and alternates between the Interpalace and the Bonanza. It tended to be a naff act at one and an OK one at the other. Not brilliant but the kids enjoyed the mini disco at half 9 each night.
Overall we were very pleased with the price we paid and what we got. We would go back to Tenerife but would probably choose to stay in the South next time due to the better weather. A good few days in Puerto De La Cruz the weather wasn't good because you get all the fog and cloud off the mountain.
