Good hotel, comfortable beds, good service. One critisism the free hotel minibus does not run often enough during week and no service on Saturday & Sunday. Taxi fare between 5 & 6 euros from town.
Food was good in quality and quantity, and to suit most nationalities.
The supply of books mostly in English or German to be found in the television room was appreciated.
Swimming pool in pleasant garden setting.

myself and my sister in law stayed in this hotel for a week and that was enough as the food was terrible , and we had to keep eating out . the staff were bad mannered and if they could ignore us they would.

We have just spent a week at this hotel and found it peaceful and restful which is what we wanted. Yes the guests are predominately older but this wasn't an issue for us and pleased there were no noisy children. The hotel building is lovely has character. The rooms are large furnished to a good standard and clean. Shower was over a half a bath which was a nice bonus, good views. Maid service was excellent.
Food which seemed to be an issue even when we were there was better than I had expected. Breakfast was great, good choice hot or cold loved the fried eggs beautiful yolks. Dinner again was buffet so you could have as much as you wished and choice I felt was good. Salads were always a good varied choice. Hot meals were a choice of a meat, a fish and a pasta or rice dish. All very edible and varied and I fail to understand why people were upset. If they had wanted more luxurious food then they needed to be staying at a more expensive hotel. We were happy to eat there every night. My only criticism was there was no drink included not even water. Waiters were efficient and accommodating.
The pool was set in nice gardens, plenty of shade if you wanted. The hotel is a little remote from shops 15 minute walk down into the resort or use the free bus which is only available weekdays.

First package holiday as a single - just wanted peace, quiet and sunshine. This hotel delivered all, and more. Read a few reviews before I left and realised that what some people were criticising was exactly what I was looking for. No "in your face" reps, no organised pool games or other "entertainment" and best of all no screaming kids rampaging around the hotel.
Food ranged between above average and excellent - eat as much as you like, and I usually did.
The hotel and its surroundings were so clean that the NHS could have taken a leaf out of their book. You could have eaten your dinner of the floor of the poolside loos!
The staff were friendly, but not OTT - there was evening entertainment a few times a week, but you did not feel obliged to go. Hourly courtesy bus to town every weekday where there were some fantastic shopping opportunities which I managed to resist, but only just.
Could not fault this hotel but accept that it would not be everyone's cup of tea. However, if you are looking for a totally relaxing holiday with great food and fabulous views I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I will definitely be returning.
All in all a week of sun and silence, just what I wanted -
