Wonderful beach hidden off the beaten track. It takes a little effort to get there from PDLC walking, but when you find it, you will find it was worth the effort. Its a lovely wide soft sandy beach surrounded by high rocks. It has a very shallow sea shelf which makes it perfect for wading out but not going too deep. Mind the waves though because they are very strong and knock you over easily. We had great fun playing in the waves!!

A truly must. Beautiful black beach. Pure unbelievable nature. Unfortunately it was red flag during our visit but doesn't matter. It has very nice caffe bar. Parking is in a private property and they charge 1 euro.

Nice beach. You can access by car or walking from La Paz area of Puerto de la Cruz (easy). There is a restaurant (and parking)near the beach during day time. The beach itself, like all northern beaches, is of black sand. You may walk further to the beach of Los Patos" and "Ancon", both being completely unattended by life guards. Sunbathing and swimming in the nude is normal here.
Don´t underestimate currents though. Do as the locals do.

It is not easy to find by foot if you walk out from Puerto de la Cruz.
But a beautiful black sand beach, though I imagine that there is no swimming at any time because of currents.
A great little bar on the beach serves tapas and other snacks.

Nice black sand beach but to get there you have to drive for a very narrow road. Besides you'll find Patos beach, even better.
