Description: “Authentic Italian cuisine in Puerto de La Cruz” Mamma Rosa's family invite you to visit and taste the authentic Italian cuisine. Our menu carefully and selectively combines a variety of exquisite products with the simplicity in the preparation of our dishes, always taking care of the small details. The restaurant is situated in the promenade of the old city, among a relaxing atmosphere that will make your visit an unforgettable evening.

We found this restaurant during our last stay in Puerto de la Cruz (Oct. 2011). The service and the food are excellent and we will definitely be going back when we next visit the island. The food is Italian with pasta, pizza and other Italian specialities, the menu is quite extensive and there is plenty of choice. We visited twice during our one week stay and the price of a meal for 2 with drinks and dessert was about 40 euro's. Very good value for what we had and well worth a visit if you in town and looking for somewhere to eat.

As in life the more effort you put in, the more you seem to get out! The same can be said of this restaurant. We kept looking for the right place to eat out of all the other restaurants in Puerto de la Cruz, but Mamma Rosa's menu stood out like a beacon. They have 2 other restaurants across and next to it and the banter between them was surprisingly friendly, which I took as a good sign. The chef and waiter were from Palermo in Scilly, so we knew that the food would be good and it certainly was. The Paella for two at just 13.50 euros and the Sorrento Gnocchi are just two dishes that I can recommend as fantastic. The 1ltr carafe of house red wine at 9 euros is also another bonus that is worth mentioning as I thought it was better than some of the expensive bottles we had at other restaurants in our travels! If you want fresh pasta and good food, you would be missing a trick not to try here at least once during your stay and make your own minds up.
