The views in this area are spectacular, with coastal views, caves, waves smashing against the coastline - well worth a visit. A path has been created across the landscape so that you can see the effect of the sea on this fascinating landscape - some of the caves are really impressive. We were there on a calm day but I can imaging that on a stormy day this part of the coast would be fantastic.
In my opinion a definite recommend.

Great to watch the water smash against these lunar-like cave formations. Go when the tide is coming in.

Stunning set of sea caves. This an excellent opportunity to take pretty pictures situated very close to El Golfo.

Apparently, it is much more impressive when the weather is rough. The waves crash against the back walls and shoot into the air.

We passed this viewpoint by accident on the way back from El Golfo. What amazed me was the size of the car park for, basically, just a view point; I can only imagine that coach tours stop off here as well. The view itself was pretty impressive of where the lava meets the sea, and the caves that were formed from the lava tubes, and also the view in either direction of the rugged coastline. Nothing else to do here so only stayed a few minutes. Once you've seen the [photos people have uploaded, you've pretty much seen it!
