Stone faced waiters, watered-down sangria, over-cooked food.

We went as a coach trip, and I couldn't wait for it to end.

Best bit of the trip is when they wheeled around a volcano cake with flame shooting out. Every gets excited and take pictures, and claps. Then they serve something that is nothing to do with what we have seen.

Nothing more then chicken and cheap sausage, and potato. Had better at out all-inclusive for the week.

“Hot volcano cold food!”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 via mobile

We had a lovely view at our window table, table 10. We went at 12 o'clock to ensure good service and fresh food. How wrong were we! The first dish of kebabs arrived before the bread and the bread was warmer than the meat. In fact it tasted like it had just come out of a fridge. We sent it back and got a replacement of pre cooked kebabs and they were warm not hot. But we accepted them anyway. The veg and potatoes were also on the tepid side. The chicken and pork were edible, but the rabbit was as tough as old boots. The meal was of a reasonable cost considering where you are. But we had gone back there just for the meal and this made the experience very costly. Both of us had stomach ache that afternoon. I wished we had just had coffee and cake.

“Lovely situation, spoiled by mediocre food and shouting waiters”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

This should have been the place for a great meal, The restaurant enjoys fantastic views over the volcanic landscape and I was really looking forward to eating. Upon entry my friends and I were completely and utterly ignored by all waiting staff. We chose our own table. Several waiters took the same order for drinks, which all got very confused. We were trying to converse but waiters were yelling at each other across the large restaurant, they were wheeling a trolley about on the tiled floor and dumping cutlery and crockery in it with scant regard to noise. Honestly, it was worse than the staff canteen.
And the food wasn't much better.
This place was a real disappointment

“panoramic views”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

the restaurant is perched on one of the volcanic peaks, it has 360 degree panoramic views. the food is basically bar b queued over a hole in the ground, and the volcano does the rest.

“Timanfaya National Park Restaurant”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

We visited this restaurant in the National Park as part of a pre-booked excursion with Thomson Holidays. The trip was very good and informative.
We have visited this restaurant before on our own for lunch and were quite impressed then, less so this time when they were catering for three or four coach loads of people at the same time for dinner. My chicken and my wife's pork were both served pink. The rest of the meal was ok. We were sat by the window and had a great view of the sunset.
