Day and night teaming with locals and visitors alike. This street and the ones intersecting it are full of charming small restaurants with very adecuate menu offers. It ends at the beginning of Vegueta, the oldest Las Palmas quarter where the Cathedral stands.

Lots of commercial shops which is not my interest but beautiful architecture and on the way to the Cathedral. Looked like lots of restaurants but we didn't happen to stop there.

You can find all the nice shops like Zara, Pimkie's, Desigual, Douglas. The atmosphere is good, in the northern parallel street you can find nice coffee shops and bars for a comfortable rest.

Reasonable selection of shops, but more just a pretty place to stroll. Lots of nice places for lunch off the main street. Recommend Luigi Miura at the south end near the statues.

Calle Mayor de Triana, as its complete name is, is perhaps one of the best parts of Las Palmas not only for shopping but for getting in the real essence of Gran Canaria. One of the noticeable characteristics of this street is the modernist facades of the surrounding buildings such as the Teatro Perez Galdos and the headquarters of the Cabildo Insular de Gran Canaria.
If you enter the Teatro it is worth looking at the murals which are really exquisite and the Salon Saint-Saëns dedicated to the French composer who visited regularly the island.
