This was part if a day trip so we only stayed three quarters of an hour. Our guide explained about all the native trees & there are salamanders in the bridge wall. There werent many flowers but as its "winter" here perhaps thats why. Its free to go in & worth a short trip

We enjoyed the nice walk in the garden. Very relaxing and beautiful. Our 3 year old enjoyed running around the gardens.
On a side note- very clean bathrooms! :)

This botanical garden host many plants which are endemic to the Canary Islands. It is wonderful for strolling around and enjoying this Mediterranean flora. What I missed is extensive and understandable descriptions of the plants. The garden is good to reach from Las Palmas by city bus.

This is a lovely botanical gardens away and a nice break away from the hustle and bustle of Las Palmas . It definitely isn’t a place for people with mobility problems if you want to do all the gardens as some of the paths are quite steep and hilly.... the gardens are built into the side of the hill. There is a flat bit at the lower side. The plants are lovely, lots of dragon trees and aeoniums as you would expect. It’s well worth a visit and it’s free

This is a great day out. But this is not suitable for people mobility problems, having said that there are 2 main areas. One is on the relatively flat lower area and the other is hillside/ cliff side. If you are scared of heights you might struggle. The paths on the hillside are stone and they are rough. You might want to wear something that supports your ankles. We love to hike and walk and we loved this. It's not big and 2 hrs is more than enough. There is a restaurant at the top and its reported to be good. There is parking at the top and at the bottom.
