After a long flight from Scandinavia, we were wandering the streets of Las Palmas, ravenous, but nothing really stood out. Then we walked past Sala 7, and the warm ambiance and enticing aromas drew us in. The food was fresh, rich, and tasty, and the service excellent and friendly. We had a starter of papas arrugadas, followed by the steak with blue cheese and honey sauce (recommended by the waiter) and grilled langoustines. Everything was cooked to perfection, and full of flavor. The mousse de gofio was amazing. The restaurant itself is run by family (parents and their son, who speaks English well).. it's small and cozy, with a classic film theme and comfortable atmosphere. The price for 3 courses for two people plus a bottle of wine came to about €50. It's definitely worth the diversion from the beach-side restaurants. Highly recommended!
