Fairly a new spot in the city, it has an impressive modern, elegant and tasteful interiors. Making it more like fine dining Japanese style. So was excited to savour the food as we waited for it to be served. But unfortunately, the good impression ended there. The food didn't live up to it. Tuna sashimi we ordered, didn't look nor tasted as fresh as it should be. The gyoza had a thick wrapper and the tempuras were sticking all together. All the rest we ate were pretty much average, nothing great. You pay for the ambience not the food. Good thing they also had a good range of wine selections, at least that was a salvation from the disappointment. But then again, it's not that difficult to find good wines even elsewhere in Spain.
Will still rather be going back to an old favorite Jap resto, like most other locals and tourists alike also rave about. We pay probably just as much dining on that tiny place with a less attractive looking interior, but their food has always been above satisfactory!
If I'd have to recommend this place.. not for dining.. just go grab a few drinks and enjoy it in the al fresco area. Their terrace, just like the interior, is an attractive eye delight.
