Very comfortable hotel at the Las Canteras beach. Room with sea view is definitely to be recommended as local traffic could be noisy on the other side. Sun chairs and parasolls on the beach as well as on the roof of the hotel are included in the room price. On the roof there is a temperated pool and close to it a gym and a SPA department. Especially the warm salt water basin in the SPA was very good for a tired body.
The hotel is close to Santa Catalina park where most local buses pass by, so if you need a change from sun bathing you can buy tickets in the kiosk in the park; for instance 10 journeys for € 7.50. Bus number 1 and 2 are very useful for excursions to the city center.

/a couple from Sweden.

We managed to get a good price on a room here (not with sea view) and it was well worth it. First class from the moment you arrive. The beach front location wins you over the second you see it and although our room didn´t have the views it didn´t matter because most of the time we were either at the pool, or beach or in the public areas of the hotel which mainly had the sea views to enjoy. Excellent spa if you like that sort of thing. It was very modern and very clean. We especially enjoyed the buffet which was expansive and very well presented. Good quality and nothing was cheaply thrown together. Our room was very comfortable with good tv, nice big new bathroom and good mattresses. This was really one of our best holidays in recent years due to this wonderful hotel and I for one would go back again.

We have just spent ten days at this hotel and thoroughly recommend it. The bedroom and public room accommodation is spacious, beautifully kept and very comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious; we looked forward to every meal. The clean, attractive rooftop pool is supervised in a quietly civilised way, with food and drinks available, and plenty of loungers. The view from the seafront side of the hotel is breathtaking, seen from bedrooms, the sun terrace, poolside or ground floor bar area which opens onto the promenade, leading directly to the beach.
The staff were helpful and courteous at all times. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed but efficient. The location is ideal for the shopping area and the beach, with buses to the city centre.

Room Tip: Rooms at the seafront side have the view - though more expensive - and book up very quickly.

We stayed here as part of a tour of 4 of the canary islands, and we found it excellent!! Service was top class, and the food in the restaurant buffet was the best of the 4 islands. The setting on the seafront is superb, and the sunsets viewed from the restaurant amazing. A very good stay in a somewhat uninspiring city. full marks.

I must agree with the other comments posted about this hotel - the location is super; right on the sea-shore with a fabulous, level promenade which is traffic-free.From early morning to late evening you can be part of the keep-fit culture either walking or running along this very attractive amenity. It even has a couple of areas where there are various simple pieces of exercise equipment which anyone can use.

The spa is worth a visit with sauna; steamroom; salt water flotation pool and a warm pool with several water jets. The hotel also has a fitness room and a roof-top swimming pool with loungers.

The restaurant provides a varied selection of hot and cold food and one of the benefits is that you can eat when ever you want - no fixed sittings for dinner.

Many attractions are within walking distance and the local bus station is also close by so you can get about the town and local areas very easily.

We would visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: The rooms on the sea side are quieter but more expensive; the room we had was on the street side and...

This hotel is in a perfect position directly on the Paseo in Las Palmas with seafacing rooms at a supplement. The reception area staff are very efficient and very helpful. Apart from the main restaurant where breakfast & dinner are served if you are on a half board basis, there is also a cafe La Marina which has quite a good menu for lunch & is at the front of the hotel (Paseo side) which is a good people watching place while you are eating. It also has a rooftop swimming pool with a nice sunbathing area & a gym with a spa also. I would highly recommend this hotel and it certainly lives up to it's 4 star status.

Room Tip: There are seaview rooms at a supplement but if you like to sit on your balcony for sunbathing then d...

The whole visit to Canarias was completed by the Hotel's Spa, I think we spent most of the time in there, was great, with many options and with a wonderful view, the room was good and the breakfast was with everything you could want for a brunch, the only down side was the room service and menu with a few options but on the bright side, it encourage us to eat outside and we found wonderful places close to the hotel, there is a Chinese Buffet next door and couple of blocks away a restaurant specialised on rice, was fantastic is called la arrocería.
