Owner description: Oasis Park Fuerteventura If you visit Fuerteventura and don’t discover its Oasis you will miss out on a major part of its charm. Located on the south east coast of the island, Oasis Park Fuerteventura is a beautiful must-visit nature reserve. It is an 800,000m2 area sheltering and protecting its flora and fauna, home to over 3000 animals of 250 different species, containing a unique Botanic Garden with the largest cactus garden in Europe. The park has four LIVE spaces where you will be able to enjoy live educational sessions with parrots, sea lions, birds of prey and reptiles, with valuable information from their keepers. Entertainment guaranteed! Furthermore, you can have the unique experience of direct contact with lemurs in the Madagascar area, sea lions under the water and even a spectacular trip along the coast on a camel. These will be moments that you will never forget. Oasis Park Fuerteventura, in addition to being a place for entertainment and fun, is an entity dedicated to developing preservation, education and research projects for flora and fauna, such as those for the Cuvier’s gazelle, the African elephant and the Canarian camel. Thanks to the work of the latter, it has the largest camel reserve in Europe, and research is currently being carried out on the health benefits that camel milk offers humans. Open every day of the year, it includes 3 restaurants, a children’s play area and a farm with domestic animals. A free return bus service collects visitors from different points of the island.

This park is amazing and beautiful in every single way! Its big and makes you feel like you really are in a wildlife with all the trees and greenery. Its definitely worth to see when in Fuerteventura. Plus the island is so small, wherever you are staying is pretty close to the oasis park. I would definitely recommend it to everyone as its amazing!

Oasis Park is a beautiful place, with lots of awesome things to see. They have a great variety of animals, some of which you can feed and pet. If it was down to the animals alone, I would have given this a 5-star review. People always have to ruin it though. The service at the cafes in the Zoo was not good, and put a bit of a downer on the day.

As a word of warning, if you book a trip here with a holiday company, please think twice. They leave you there for 8 hours, which is far too long to spend in the hot sun! 3 hours is enough time to see and do everything!

A brilliant day out! Lots to do and animals to see and plenty of photo opportunities. Friendly staff most with very funny senses of humour! Very good informative shows, especially the reptile show! I can now say I've pulled the tail of a crocodile and survived, kissed a sea lion and sunbathed with a lemur! We had lunch at one of the restaurants which had tasty food and served in a very clean environment. If visiting fuerteventura, Oasis Park is a must see!

Went to the Zoo while on Holiday in Fuerteventura and i was staying at the Broncemar Beach hotel. Got a free bus from the Barcelo Fuerteventura hotel which was just round the corner. The Zoo is great and has very large had has plenty of animals. However i do feel that getting the free bus back at 6PM which is the only free one back is a bit of drag as me and my girlfriend found ourself being bored waiting around for the bus for 2 hours as we had been round the zoo several times trying to pass time and we still were done by 3PM from arriving at approx 10AM. A Taxi back would of cost us 50 Euro which we simply didn't want to spend so we had to wait.
