We stayed here for 4 nights recently. Although a fairly basic hotel, it does everything you'd expect it to do, with reasonable sized rooms (small bath/shower room, no aircon but does have fans) some room with views and/or balconies, fairly good breakfast and a pool. What really made this for us was the owner and staff. Right from the welcoming drinks (on the terrace overlooking the Platja Gran - inlet of the sea) to the helpful advice, friendliness and willingness to engage with guests, this really made us feel welcome and at home. Not far from the old town, so you can either walk along the Carrer Mallorca (straight road up into town) or take the left turn after the small beach (Cala Platje Gran) and along the Passeig Maritim (much nicer, especially in the evening) which will take you round to the harbour and up to town that way. They have their own steps down to the Platje Gran at the back of the hotel, so you can swim across this part of the inlet. Plenty of people in the water here, so very popular! Or you can swim in the small pool and sit on the loungers to dry off. Just be aware that they don't allow use of room towels in the pool or swimming at the back, so you'll need to bring your own or buy locally. I think the hotel closes for the winter months (Sept - March possibly?) as the owner was looking forward to his well deserved winter vacation in Asia and South America!!

Room tip: If you can get a balcony or view, ask on arrival?

The hotel is in a lovely part of cituadella overlooking a bay where a lot of people can swim, I do think more could be done with the overgrown areas around the bay it is obviously left for a reason but the no dog fouling signs are ignored by the locals which is sad.The room we had was adequate had a balcony, very small shower cubicle, bathroom could do with an update get rid of old bidet which would allow more room for a bigger shower, good job my hubby and I weren't big people!! The breakfast was very good better than some 4 stars! The staff were very efficient and helpful, all in all for the star rating it has not bad at all.Would like to mention the lovely lady in the morning don't know her name but she was at break fast working and doing bedrooms she had dark hair.

I will never tire of staying in this fabulous place - humble accommodation run by the most helpful, friendly people.
Location, location, location is the trump card.
Many rooms overlook the beautiful little cala with its clear blue water and platforms from where you can have an early morning dip or just enjoy a delightful swim any time.
I have been coming here for a number of years and each year the proprietors have upgraded an area; be it the swimming pool decking, terrace furniture or new room doors.
Extremely clean and well presented throughout.
Whilst there is no air con the ceiling fans surfice; the bathroom towels are not huge and fluffy but do the job; the safe is big enough to take laptop and ipads; the fridge can take bottles of water and wine !
A must is breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, and then at the end of the day a 'pomada', local drink of gin and fanta limon, whilst enjoying the most amazing sunsets.
It is located in a residential area with plenty of on street parking, although a short walk to bus stops - very good local service to beaches, and other parts of the island.
The centre of Ciudadella is easy accessible on foot where you will find a vast number of bars, cafes, restaurants, squares, shops, markets, harbour - spoilt for choice.
Before you leave order 'ensaimadas' from reception, the local breakfast pastry, delicious , freshly made for bringing home a unique edible souvenir.
Without a doubt I will be returning ....

We stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is extremely clean. We had room 14 which has a lovely terrace. There is no air conditioning but the fan and breeze from the water cooled down our room nightly. There is lots of parking in front. But the best part is the location. You can walk out the door and down steps into the water. The water is clear and beautiful. We snorkeled here every day. There are lots of fish to see but not like what you see in Hawaii. We were also impressed with the staff. They were so helpful and could easily converse and help us in English. They recommended spots to visit and great restaurants.
