The location is great, the service is friendly and the food is good. We had some fried squids and shrimps cooked in olive oil with a touch of garlic and both were very good, especially the squids.
We continued with lobster paella which was quite delicious. We washed all down with a chilled bottle of Spanish wine. It might not be the most incredible culinary experience you can have in Spain but it was a lovely dinner at a memorable location. Definitely give it a go.

The restaurant is under new ownership this season and the standards set by the previous ones just aren't there. The incredible location and views will always fill the place but the food has definitely taken a dive under the new owners, it's not bad just not great like it used to be. Had a paella with no hint of saffron, surely the key ingredient?

The new maitre d wanders up and down aimlessly even though the staff work really hard, whilst we've been there we never saw a table wiped with one punter being seated after the last with no consideration for hygiene. If he picked up a cloth and gave that a go it'd be a start.

Ten minutes away in Ciutedella there's far better food, oh and clean tables, maybe not the picture postcard view, but no excuse for just not trying.

Playa Santandria is a lovely place for a swim and a Sunday lunch of paella- a perfect combination in my book. We arrived quite late, at about 3pm on June 30th, and were greeted warmly. Seafood Paella was cooked perfectly, and included squid, langoustine, prawn, mussels, clams and crab. The paella was preceded by a mixed salad to share, and we drank in the lovely views along with a beer, and a bottle of rose, Chivite's Gran Feudo. The meal cost €64- reasonable value.

Our first time in Menorca and we were recommended this restaurant by the staff at our hotel. It did not disappoint in any way. It is set into the rocks of the bay at sa caleta and overlooks the sea. The food was fantastic, the staff courteous and friendly and the location was unbeatable. We found the prices reasonable for the standard. You can watch the sunset while having dinner and watch the fish below in the bay. We ate there 3 times and it was great every time. I would recommend the paella and the pork loin. There is a roof top bar above the restaurant which again is a lovely place to sit and relax over a cocktail which were very good. The two girls who worked upstairs were extremely friendly and gave a great service. All in all, I would note hesitate to recommend Cova Sa Nacra. The staff were great with our kids, even giving them bread to throw to the fish below and the kids menu was good. I was surprised to see some bad reviews as I can only say good things and I can't wait to go back when we visit menorca again.

Sitting overlooking the sea eating lovely fresh fish or meat served by knowledgable and friendly staff and drinking good priced wine. What could be better? We loved this restaurant and it was enhanced by a very welcoming owner who clearly understands how to provide patrons with a good experience.

Great stuff!
