The last few years I’ve started celebrating my wedding anniversary in Palma. Last year we discovered Adrian Quetglas and had a wonderful experience dining there.
So naturally this year we decided to go back, and once again we were amazed and delighted with the entire evening.
The evening began with a lovely touch of being seated at the table as last year ( just a coincidence but nice all the same).
The 7 course taster menu was again a wonderful. The mixture of flavour, although varied were far from overpowering and each course was as good as the last.
With an extremely low set price of €55 for dinner and fabulous wines for a mere €4, it was definitely our cheapest but best meal during our stay.
The staff are lovely, and you can tell they obviously enjoy their work. Nothing is to much trouble and they definitely put the customer first at all times. Even waiting for you to return to your table before serving the next course.
The highlight of the evening has to be meeting Adrian, he stopped at our table at the end of the evening to say hello and ask if we enjoyed our meal. It was a real treat getting to meet the man himself and being able to thank him in person.
The following evening we returned, but this time to visit the bistro/tapas next door
D’gustar. Which I believe is also owned by Adrian Quetglas. It’s a more laid back, casual dining experience but the food is just as good.
Each tapas was tasty and great portions. Fantastic value.
The service was just as professional as the night before, and although there only appeared to be the one waitress she was amazing.
So I’d like to recognise Camille, and say a big thank you to you.
