The hotel is modern, clean and has friendly helpful staff. It's also very good value (we stayed in January 2010 so it was off season). The location is perfect for the old town shops, bars and restaurants although all the main sights in Palma are no more than a 15 minute walk. There's a car park (which is not for the faint hearted or those with a large car) but it's best to arrive by taxi first as the route in requires local knowledge. Definite thumbs up and great for a short break.

We stayed at this hotel, choosing it for its supposed style and great location.

It looks boutique but is in fact bazaar (or even bizarre).

Service was sulky, no offer with bags or even shown to the room.
The bar downstairs served wine in a chipped glass with bits of cork in it. Peanuts were served when it suited the barman.
The internet connection was not recommended by my pc and when I advised the staff that security was suspect, they said ignore the instruction!
There was no plug for the handbasin and when I asked for one at reception, they said they don't supply them for security reasons!! First time I have heard that a plug could be a weapon of mass destruction? Never mind how much water was wasted in shaving or washing your face.

After 5 days we blamed the weather and checked out.

If you want to be different then you had better pull your socks up!

This little hotel is in a great location; just a short walk from the Station and the Airport Bus Stop and located down an ally way from the main Palma shopping area. The Hotel is traditional Spanish style and decorated in a clean and fresh style which is modern and minimalist but with a comfortable feel. The hotel has a central courtyard so the rooms located around it are very quiet even though they are in the centre of the City although I should imagine that the rooms that faced out onto the ally way were pretty quiet too.
We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning which was of continental style with a good assortment of quality items. We also had Dinner in the hotel one night which was also good.
The only down side that I could say was that on arrival our room had a vary strong smell of tobacco. We initially we thought this was from the previous guest but ,even through air freshener was used after every cleaning, still lingered at the end of the 4 days and got vary overpowering and was picked up on the clothes that were in the wardrobe. I could only think it was coming from the air conditioning system. Although this would still not put us off staying at this hotel again!

The location is perfect---you get off the bus from the airport and it is 5 minutes walk. You walk down a shabby alley and suddenly there is this fantastic hotel with an attractive central courtyard. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. And of course you are right in the centre of Palma but the location is quiet. We got this accom through lastminute.com and the prices were very good. I could not fault this place---if only they were all like this!! We did not have breakfast here as it seemed a little expensive, but it did look good. The central market is very close and this is a must if you are staying here. We will go back to this hotel--no doubt.

We stayed here for two nights and were assigned a second floor room in the building across the courtyard from reception (room 211). Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and courteous. However, as we were assigned a room in the building next door, there was no elevator. Keep this in mind if it might be a concern. The building with reception has an elevator.

Our room, a triple, was very spacious. It essentially consisted of a room with a double bed and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. We also had a little sitting area in front of the television and a refrigerator. Generally it was quiet, but on our last morning, there were people checking out that actually rolled their luggage down the steps outside on the street. That was loud and disturbing, but primarily a result of inconsiderate people. The air conditioning was adequate and the shower was quite good (good water pressure, etc)

The location of the hotel is great. It's down an alley so it isn't too busy right outside of the hotel, but a quick walk up the alley and you're on a major pedestrian road with lots of little shops, pharmacies and restaurants. We often walked down towards the cathedral and the marina. The train station is also within walking distance, as well a stop for the red tour bus (I would recommend for getting out to the castle).

Front desk staff was friendly and provided good dinner recommendations and scheduled our taxi ride back to the airport for us. All in all, a good stay.

Booked into this hotel specifically for their "free wi-fi" as I had work to do online. I was given a basement room and found that my had room had zero signal at all. Had to sit on the stairs or in the lobby to use my computer, only to find that my own work website was blocked by the extremely high safety settings on the wi-fi router. The staff had no idea how to change the settings, (despite my site being completely safe, legal and non-offensive/pornographic in any way) and refused to offer me a discount or to let me check out without charge once I realised I wouldn't be able to get any work done. (I hadn't even sat on the bed yet at this point). The hotel itself is fine but this experience ruined it for me.

It really is Perfect!
Start with 1) Check-In: The front desk staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful (excellent dinner recs) 2) Lobby and restaurant: Great decor, wonderful vibe (didn't eat there, food looked yum though) 3) Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, spotless, modern decor and excellent shower- rain shower no less 4) Location: Central Palma, close walking distance to several major bus lines, easy access to Palma's nearby beaches via bus lines. Several cute coffee shops and cafes a few metres from here. Fantastic shopping all nearby...you really do not need a car if you stay here!
I could not ffnd a SINGLE fault at this hotel, it's quite unreal what a good value for money this excellently run hotel is!!
U will NOT go wrong staying here...the price charged per night is the one of the "best value for money" I have experienced travelling in Europe.
