“Fabulous collection of artwork”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

This was a fabulous gallery with an immense display of drawings, paintings, sculptures, tapestries etc and lots of information about Miro's work. You could also visit the artist's studio and walk around the gardens. I found it fasinating. There was a lovely cafe selling the famous Mallorcan ensaimades (light flaky pastries). There was also a very good giftshop. To top it all we visited on a Saturday when, unbeknownst to us, there is NO admission charge!! But even if we had to have paid the 6 euros admission fee it would have been well worth it!! Highly recommended.

“Stunning culture in Majorca”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Miro Foundation first class. See his workshop and an amazing number of stunning sculptures and drawings - beautiful wall hangings also. Miro expresso coffee cups in the shop make good presents. You can take pictures of the works and relax at the cafe which has a great mural. At the time we went there was a great John Mayall track playing too. A great experience.

“A must for Miro fans and those who might become such”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

I can only join in the chorus of favorable reviews, this is a must even for non-Miro freaks. They might come out converted. It is well arranged in a beautiful setting. The only minus point: we had a hard time finding it from the bus stop and ended up taking a long detour up hill and down dale. The should be more signage. But the experience when we finally arrived made up for the trouble getting there. In May it was not crowded it all. We almost had the place to ourselves.
