“Amazing gem in the heart of Palma.”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

This new hotel only opened in July so all the rooms are not fully available but our suite 32 was and how totally delighted we were with it From the taxi dropping us off from the airport (you will need the exact address as even the local taxis do not know it is there YET) we were enchanted by the whole area and the intimate ambiance of the hotel. From being greeted by Tony at reception to the fantastic staff who are some of the best we have known from staying in Palma over the last 17 years .The room was divine and we could fault nothing even though the mini bar had developed a fault we were assured by Tony just to ring down and our every wish would be granted and it was !!!. I have to mention the array of pillows and quality of them ,we were very impressed and it does take quite something for the pillows in a hotel to get a special mention. So take our advice and get booking just a note there is only a plunge pool and some beds on the roof terrace but the beach is a short walk or a 5 euro taxi ride and it was not a hassle at all(rather do without the pool and stay here).
Thank you to all the staff breakfast and dinner and even if you do not stay book a table for dinner as again some of the best we have had in Palma.

Room Tip: Room 32 is really good and double balcony doors overlooking the square.

Dear "Mikejames 296",
thank you very much indeed for sharing your positive feedback and for taking the time to post your experience here. I am delighted to hear that you liked the Suite 32 and its equipment that much and enjoyed the room. Thank you moreover for mentioning Toni and the staff who are all giving their best since the day the hotel opened its doors (and before) to ensure that the guets feel well looked after and it is wonderful for us to see the fruit of their hard work by tokens of recognition as yours. We further appreciate the advise for fellow travellers which helps us to inform hopefully future guests about what to bear in mind before their stay or booking. Especially in the first weeks after the opening this is a valuable support for us - many thanks! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Hotel Cort soon and the whole team is looking forward to seeing you again!

We stayed for a week to celebrate our anniversary and having booked at the last minute during peak season without much research we were overwhelmed by how luxurious and comfortable this hotel was, without any pretence, and its location! The staff are very friendly, concierge incredibly knowledgeable about the restaurants, beach clubs, activities in Palma and further afield. Breakfast is also good value with decent coffee and lovely freshly squeezed OJ.

As it had just opened there were a few kinks eg: Jacuzzi or mini bar not plugged in yet, but the staff made the drinks complimentary and brought them up to our room upon request round the clock!

Also so thoughtful were they that once they heard of my love for pink bubbly they brought a bottle up to our room complimentary on our anniversary.

Thank you Marcos and Tony for making our stay so memorable.
Cannot wait to return :)

Palma, my favourite city in the Mediterranean is looking good these days despite the economic situation in Spain. Just opened is the new small, chic, Hotel Cort right bang in the centre on Placa Court next to the Town Hall and the city's famous ancient olive tree and the Cathedral. A short walk takes you to all the best shopping, restaurants and architecture. The outside woodwork is pinted red so you can't miss it! The rooms are contemporary but not too modern as to make them stark. These rooms are clean, fresh design with Majorcan fabrics. mountains of pillows and Frette linen throughout. The food is excellent on the ground floor in the brasserie where you can eat in air conditioned comfort or out on the Placa to soak up the local atmosphere. The Bar is currently the place to be and be seen.

Room Tip: 33 has good views over the Placa

Although we did not stay at the hotel, we enjoyed lunch here twice. Great location under a gorgeous olive tree. Festive and fun people watching. Very attentive staff. Near lots of shopping and sites. Highly recommended for an afternoon drink or espresso.

Located in the centre of historical centre, between the cathedral, shopping and harbour this brand new 5* hotel is overlooking a beatiful square with a wonderful enormous olivetree. Great people watching on the terrace for breakfast. Warm design in the comfortable room with alot of wood and nice fabrics. Polychrome tiles in the well equipped bathrooms. Barbara is a really great, well trained staff.

Dear "RudyMB",
although your stay with us has already been a while ago I would still like to thank you - also on this medium - for having chosen the Hotel Cort as one of our very first guests and for sharing your impressions on this platform. We are proud and delighted to hear about your good experience - especially after only a few days in operation. That is very motivating for us and keeps us going to always become a little bit better every day. We all look forward to when you will back home to your "Island Life". Best wishes!
