Stopped off here a couple of times in late June and early July for lunch - food superb and the service excellent. Tasty baguettes, salads and quiches with great coffee and at a price that suits most pockets - just off the Plaza Mayor - so better quality and a darn sight cheaper too. Will visit again on my next trip to Palma.

We visit Aroma every time we are in Palma. The food is really good, well presented, a little different from the norm in Spain and above average for Palma. The deserts are amazing (we always buy them to take home) and on a cold day the mulled wine is divine. The staff are always pleasant and speak good Spanish, German and English. There is no outside seating but it's cool enough inside in the summer and always interesting to watch the passers by through the big windows! It IS small though.

Stopped off here a couple of days ago as I had avoided visiting anything with a 'name' and I was not disappointed. Although the immediate entrance looks small, there is plenty seating to the left and a few tables immediately right. Staff were all very friendly but didn't speak English and nor where there any English tourists in whilst I was there. I take this as a good sign!!
All the cakes (think they are made locally) looked delicious and I opted for a piece of carrot cake with Lavazza coffee...the piece could have easily fed 2 people and was just fantastic, coffee great too. The lunch menu appeared not to be designed for lingering but from what I remember and if my stay had been for longer, I certainly would have returned.
