We came to the hotel with our 10 month old son and were given our room - up a narrow stairway and into quite a small room with a gigantic bathroom (almost bigger than the room) with a jacuzzi. Promising, we thought, before we realized that the AC did not function properly and neither did the mini-bar fridge. Not an ideal situation for a baby. We asked to get another room, but the hotel was fully booked. At least they were service-minded, but that did not help much when the repairs could not be done before the following workday (we were only staying one night). Thus, we did not feel that the money we spent were worth it.

On the positive side, this hotel has a wonderful location and a great charm. I believe we were just unlucky.

I would not recommend this hotel for people travelling with small children - it is the kind of hotel that more clearly caters to the quieter sort of guests ;)

The hotel is situated on a very quite street right in the heart of Palma's old town. Just a few minutes walk to the best shopping streets and sites, even the beach is but a 10 minutes walk. Our room was clean and the bathroom big. We didn't get a taste of the "excellent service" we had read about, not until it was time to check out. But better late than never.

We just came back from a stay here, the hotel is in amazing location just a few mins walk to the Palma Cathedral. The owner who runs the hotel is always on hand to give you local information and advice to make your stay the best possible. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful, with incredible antique furniture in each room. The staff did whatever they could to accommodate our toddler and we were always greeted with a smile and offers of help.

I spent three nights at the Dalt Murada and highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is not easy to find. But that is one of its charms - tucked away on a narrow quiet street but still very close to the cathedral and lots of tourist attractions and restaurants. I was fortunate to be upgraded from a standard single room to a suite - so that was very nice. The owners of the hotel take an interest in your visit in Palma. They recommend good restaurants and discourage you from going to a restaurant you may have in mind - based on their experience or the experience of other guests.

The hotel has WiFi but it does not have a laundry service. You need to walk several blocks to drop off and pick up any laundry you may have.

The breakfasts are an additional charge - but very extensive. And they will cook you a hot breakfast if you prefer.

I loved this hotel and will stay there again if I ever return to Palma.

We stayed at the hotel in June and had one of the suites - my husband & I had the bedroom and my son had a bed in the lounge area. The hotel was great and better than I expected. It was a bit of a labyrinth and as some of my family were staying in other rooms we did go up and down a few staircases (there is a lift for some of the hotel). The suite was a very good size and my family had a couple of double rooms which were also lovely - steps provided for the huge bath! We enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard and brought a bottle of wine and birthday cake upto the roof terrace one evening. The staff kept to themselves but were always happy to help when asked. It is a very handy location but also very secluded at the same time. I would love to visit again.
