This is a great nights experience. The buildings are such a stunning backdrop, with the art making it so modern, wow the Europeans do this so well. Walk around and soak up the atmosphere. Best to go around ten pm and hang out in the many tapas bars and get a real flavour of Mallorca. Felt young again.

Was recommended to go here at the weekend for a nose round and to try the tapa bars. It was a Saturday night and quite a few people were there doing the same as us. Nice experience all round.

If you are staying in Palma City go there at night as it is the most popular place with dozens of restaurants and bars for every taste. You will find the usual Spanish ham restaurants where you eat while standing or a more posh sitting restaurant. We were in Palma for 3 nights and went there 3 times!

We found this area of Palma, Mallorca just a few nights before our departure and we went back every night. There are various typical resturants in this area but avoid the main fish restaurants CabaloMar as the prices are crazy and service not the best.

It may not look like much from the outside but the soaring rooflines and supporting pillars were things of absolute beauty. There was also an exhibition or probably more correct, an installation, called one thousand faces which consisted of photos incorporated into tiles and laid across the floor enabling you to walk over all of these faces which were screwed up.
