We're just back from a 3 night stay at this great hotel. We'd booked a triple room and were not disappointed as there were three full size single beds and still plenty of space to move around. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bathroom was spacious and the large shower had a glass floor to ceiling shower screen rather than a shower curtain that can stick to your legs! There were plenty of fluffy towels and housekeeping made our room immaculately tidy. There is a little fridge which we kept bottled water in and the aircon was great at keeping the room cool. We were at the back of the hotel on the 7th floor so had lovely views of the Med, port and cathedral. Avda Jaime III is busy during the day but much quieter at night and we never heard a sound. The continental breakfast is wonderful with everything you could possibly want. The dining room is light and cool and there was a relaxed atmosphere with no one having to queue up as the various food options are spread out. The hotel is in a great location. We walked everywhere and couldn't believe how well situated the hotel was. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There was a safe in one of the double wardrobes in our room which we used at a cost of 1.50 Euros a day. All in all a great hotel in an ideal location.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back will be quieter but ask for a high floor for great views

This hotel is everything we were looking for, fantastic location, great sized room, lovely little balcony overlooking main street not too noisy, wonderful roof top terrace, great for photographs, staff were extremely pleasant, nice breakfast. Would highly recommend it, no pool or fitness centre

Room Tip: Rooms facing Main Street with balcony are very nice

Very good hotel have not been to Palma for many years and we glad to find somewhere so central and near to all the major sights. Wonderful views over Port and the Cathedral. Very clean and bright and the roof terrace is stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: As high up as possible with a view of the port

I chose this hotel for our visit to Palma in May 2014 from this site and it lived up to its reviews and name. Based very near the old city, the location is great for most places that we wanted to visit. The room was airy and very clean. Although looking out onto a busy road, with the excellent air conditioning and multiple glazing, silence reigned. Shower was powerful, bed comfortable, linen seeming to be changed almost daily.

Breakfast was extensive from meat and cheese through eggs and bacon via cereals, fruit and a range of pastries. Suitable for most requirements, it allowed me at least to vary the choice. Coffee was good from 4 Nespresso machines

The roof top terrace view lived up to its name with a wide view of the harbour, marinas, churches and cathedral. Seats were comfortable and the two waiters in the bar most nights were focused, enthusiastic and helpful. Like most hotels, you don't see many staff, but all that we met were helpful and courteous. Check-in and check-out was fast and slick.

Good hotel where I would stay again!

Perfectly placed, this hotel will be our place to go for visit to Palma de Mallorca. From the friendly helpful staff to the breakfast the next morning all you need for either a short or long break. Take the lift to the roof bar and see the stunning sites. Shops start outside the front door and keep going. The Born, the Rambles and Cathedral are all 5 mins away if that. For further trips public transport by bus or train are easy so leave the car.

Room Tip: Ask for a front room and balcony the pool would be good if there was one
