“My favorite place for Paellas when I am in Palma”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

Whenever I feel like having a Paella and I am in Palma I always go to Sa Cranca. I might take it away or enjoy the location and views of the restaurant in Paseo Maritimo and have it in the restaurant. The fact is that whenever somebody asks me where to go for a good Paella I recommend this place.
I was there last week with my friends and had a paella mixta ciega (blind paella). The service was great and good value for money...

“Authentic Spanish paella surrounded by entirely Spanish locals!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

We have been here a few times and they really do serve the best paella! Great choice of about 10 different types and great choice of deserts, if you can fit it in! Welcoming with a slightly old fashioned feel, but that is meant as a compliment! Not the cheapest place to eat but I would say if you want somewhere cheap go to a fast food joint. Best of all is you can finish the meal with a 'delta' coffee- terrific!!

“Fabulous Paella, place needs a facelift”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2011

If you are a pure foodie, you will find a fantastic, authentic paella here, served tableside in giant cast iron skillets. We had the delicious lobster paella, and chose our own fresh lobster from the tank. The waiter was helpful in steering us toward the right paella for the kids – something with chicken and without mussels -- and they loved it. Paella is by no means inexpensive, but the restaurant was appropriately priced.
Now for the non-food part: The restaurant interior is tired. It is up a flight of stairs, and while we sat at a primo table overlooking the harbor, the whole place could definitely use a facelift. It is reminiscent of brasseries in Paris that have been around forever with the same food, chairs, tables, dishes etc., and have enough of a history and customer base that they don’t bother updating anything.
