I've had the good fortune to ride with Albion on three occasions – and I'll be back for plenty more. Hugh is a fountain of knowledge about the bikes and the island – and he's a very convivial host.
The bikes are in tip-top condition and offer an enormous variety of motorcycling experiences – even if you travel down the same road on each of them – but there's no need to do that because there are no end of simply brilliant biking roads all over the island.
From lazy sweeping backroads where you can enjoy the morning sunshine and smell of pines and almond blossom to the full-on, laugh-out-loud adrenaline rush you can find on the coast roads of the Tramuntana mountains. Just awesome.
Plus you know that Hugh knows the perfect place to stop for a quick coffee and there's always the thought of lunch just over the horizon. From mouthwatering steaks in a restaurant owned by a retured bullfighter to amazing picnic salads sat the the balmy shade of a secret 800 year-old moorish mountainside garden. And while you're getting stuck into an ice cold San Miguel or a second glass of crisp rosé, you know someone else is taking care of the bikes. Better days than this are hard to find.
If you like sunshine you should visit. If you like breathtaking scenery, you should get on a plane now. If you like amazing food, do your palette a favour and climb aboard. And if you have even an ounce of petrol running through your veins, put Albion on your bucket list.
They've even got lovely T-shirts! I think I'm going to get a tattoo of the logo.
