“Beautiful, but prepare to play beach towel Tetris!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We visited here after catching the ferry from Cala Llonga. The sand and sea are picturesque, and the sea contains lots of beautiful fish.

The downside was that it was extremely busy, and there was barely enough room to put a towel down. As the beach got busier throughout the day, we noticed that the people around us were getting closer and closer as more people were bussed in. By the end, if you shook your beach towel, scores of people would be affected as it was so tightly packed.

We spent most of our time in the sea, which was perfect.

“paradise!!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

Now I'm home I could cry seeing the pictures of this beach. When I'm there it actually makes me giggle just how breathtakingly gorgeous it is! Saying that one side of it is very crowded in July and August but a quick stroll to the other side offers up lots of space for peaceful sunbathing. We also walked just over the headland on the last few days and found the most beautiful bay with max 4 couples at a time on it. Plenty of beach space for everyone!!

The most famous beach on the island does not disappoint. Great sand, crystal water, and views of Ibiza incuding Es Vedra rock and Dalt Villa.

“Overcrowded and overvaluated”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Yes, the sand is white´n`nice and water is saphir colored. But beach is so full of people no place even to but your leg, and the same concerns the water. There are more much nicer and less crowded beaches within the island. Also if you driving the veachle, the entrance costs and road to the beach is the worse i ever drived. Can´t understand for what the taken money is used fore.

“caribbean in the med”

If you love clear blue water and soft sand and dont want to fly lots of hours this place is a must, we took the ferry from santa Eulalia and it was a lovely 1 hour trip, guys on the boat are good and you can buy bus tickets for the beach on the boat which is no stress, this beach was very busy, so next time I go back I would like to look at the others but it was lovely, If you want to take care of your money take food and drink as it is pricey 3.50 for a tiny beer, also a brolly for shade, although you can rent them for a tener which I thought was good.
