“Nice hike, Beautiful Views bonus there is a Museum”

Was one of the nicest walks and had so many points to stop off and take beautiful photos i think it took probably double the amount of time it should have!!..A must do when in San Sebastian.

“Amazing views and nice museum at the top”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

There's nothing to dislike about this. I recommend going up the town side and coming down on the sea side. It's a bit of a hike but well worth the fantastic view. Go at sunset. The museum is also nice. Nothing prepares you for the breath taking view. Would also recommend a night time climb. The lights of the city are fantastic!

“Nice morning hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

Another thing I love about San Sebastián is the short distance to all the sights. The hike to mount urgull was perfect in the morning. Brought up coffee and a croissant with me and enjoyed just sitting there appreciating the relaxing view of the bay. Not so touristy in the morning. If I lived in San Sebastián, I would probably jog up there everyday.

“Great climb, views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Great climb with several different distance options, wonderful history lesson. You can climb several different paths with different distances, a cemetery to walk through is a change of pace. The walk around the base is also fabulous, not to be missed. Early morning avoids the heat and crowds.

“Interesting hike to the top”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

October is off season so there is no bus service. We hiked up and even though parts were steep, you were rewarded with great views or a bench to rest on. The scenery around is pleasing and during the season I would think with flowers and plants blooming it's beautiful. Surprised when we arrived at the top to see a castle. Didn't know it was there. Small informative museum within. Climb the towers to get the best view of Jesus overlooking the beautiful bay. You could enjoy a picnic or lounge around many areas designed for it or just walk the many trails with nice views and some surprises. Best thing about it, it's FREE :-)
