Very clean, close to beach and centre, good staff and nice room
Consigliato!!!!
++++++++++++++++
Parkin is infront of the hotel and they have special price for that, staff is really good and helpfull
In the nearby there are lots of bar and restaurant and shops....we were there durin semana grande and we got all best places by walkin from the hotel
Even if lots of people were in the streets to make party we slept so well because of goodness of the rooms
If you want to book a nice hotel go there!!!!
But you have to book with some months in advance because hotel isn t so big and lots of tourists in the city

We spent 5 nights during the Semana Grande of San Sebastian and that was really a great place to stay, central and close to Zurriola Beach but far from the hustle and bustle of the old city..which was filled up by tons of people! The hostal is located at the 1st floor of an ordinary building, with a stunning liberty style elevator;we had Patricia as receptionist which was very kind to us, despite being Italians ;),and gave us many hints. We had room #2,clean, not very spacious but comfortable with a nice bathroom. No air conditioning, but is always very windy. We didn't try the breakfast because there are a lot of bars nearby but is 4€each.Free wi-fi perfectly working. It's also near a bus stop, and 10m walking far from train station. We will definitely return there.

Our stay in Kursall was perfect. The best thing about this place is the location, a 2 minute walk to the old town or zuriolla beach but ona quiet street away from the noise of it all. The street itself has some great bars & restaurants. We stayed 6 nights & every day despite bringing in a ton of sand the room was kept spotless. The room was simple & beautifully decorated & we had a lovely little balcony. The staff were so helpful with any enquiries we had. Above all else San Sebastian is not a cheap place to stay & this place offers an affordable alternative.
Thank you to the staff, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I come back.

The Pension Kursaal is a 5 minute walk from the beginning of the old part of the city, but since it's not in the heart, you avoid the noise from the city's vibrant night life and can actually get a great night's sleep. It's also a good value, so we recommend it. A great added touch is the cute antique elevator. There's also a nice place for breakfast (with fresh-squeezed orange juice) just a few doors down.

Room Tip: Get a room in the back, away from the street

Really great location only a few minutes walk to the beach, this is the beach that has the great surf, probably about 15 minute walk to la concha beach. It was very close to walk to the old town maybe about 8 minutes or so no need for taxis. Rooms were clean and modern enough. We had an inside room that faced out to an internal courtyard but not through a natural window which was strange but it did the job for the amount of time we spent in the room!

The address is in Gross, but the pension is actually located only a couple of meters away from the bridge, which seperates the old town from the less touristic Gross. The beach is just accross the road.
The location is perfect, the room we stayed in was clean and with modern design. The one thing which was not right was the odd position of the window - no natural light got inside the room. We did not plan to stay in the room during the day, but still it felt kind of strange.

The location is excellent, opposite the convention centre and very close to the bridge that leads across to the old town a short walk away. We stayed for 3 nights and were quite happy with the cleanliness and standard of the room, it was equipped with all the basics you need and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The staff were quite helpful, although we didn't require much extra assistance. The servicing of the room wasn't done twice, but when we asked to exchange the towels for clean ones, there was no problem.

We had an outside room with a small balcony overlooking the convention centre. While there was some noise, it was mainly in the mornings with tour groups gathering at the bus stop outside and this didn't bother us. It was nice to have a door to open for fresh air & to step outside if we felt like it. We also had some water views. The lack of airconditioning was not a problem as the weather wasn't hot. Be aware though, that a 'double' bed is simply two singles made up separately then pushed together!

Parking was easy, straight into the underground parking across the road (under the convention centre), bring your ticket into the hotel and simply pay with your bill, and your parking ticket is validated to leave again. This was much cheaper than other parking options.

Overall the hotel was great value for money and with such a good location, I would recommend it.
