The hotel was lovely, with a comfy room and great shower. The pool is a good size one for swimming, and the surrounding area is pleasant with lots of sunbeds and a bar. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and were able to answer our questions about the city. They managed to get us checked in a little early as we had arrived on the overnight intercity train from Paris and were in need of comfort.
Breakfast was expensive, but there were plenty of places at the bottom of the hill to get coffee and tostada or a croissant. The area at the bottom of the hill was also excellent for bars and food at night if you did not want to go into the main areas. The hill meant I came back fitter than I went! However there is a good bus service from across the road from the hotel, which takes you right into the main area for 1.60 euros. The room was expensive, but I think this was due to it being main season, and "Semana Grande". The atmosphere and fireworks everynight made up for it though. I would definitely use this hotel again.More
