The hotel is a short taxi ride from the bus station or you can even walk if you're travelling light (takes less than half an hour). The location is ideal for a casual stroll to the Old and New towns. We were lucky enough to get a room with the spectacular bay view - incredible. The room itself was fine - spacious and clean. Not very sound-proof though, lots of noise from upstairs and the corridor. Fortunately it settled down later in the day, so our sleep was never interrupted. Bathroom was functional if perhaps a little bit small. Two free bottles of water were provided every day, which was nice. The reception staff were helpful, and spoke English well. The restaurant staff at breakfast were a bit more gruff though. Breakfast was 11 Euro, and the selection wasn't huge, but it was enough. Would be better value eating in town though.
Bay view rooms can't be guaranteed, so if you do manage to get one then well done, and enjoy the scenery!
