I had Room 415, tucked away in a corner and had a small balcony, with views of the canal and the bay. The hotel is wonderfully situated near numerous restaurants that serve pinxtos. It is also a short walk to the train station. I had 2 meals at the hotel - late lunch in the bar one afternoon and room service one night for dinner. At the bar, I had ordered several items, expecting that they would bring the items out as they were ready (i.e., I ordered some cheeses and nuts to snack on first) but they brought everything out at once. I suggest you be specific if you want your courses in a specific order. The hotel staff were very friendly. I spent all of 1 day working from my hotel room so did not get out much to explore during the day. I used the shoe shining service - my shoes came back quickly. My bed was extremely comfortable. Perhaps since it was low season, the area was very quiet. I highly recommend this property.
