Initial impressions were that it was like any of the other (high quality) eateries in the old town but 2 steps in and you realise that this is no normal pintxos selection. A bustling bar and a busy couple of waitresses we couldn't work out how we were ever going to get served with a major language barrier but one dish ordered and the it was a case of point, smile and request (with at least a por favor and a gracias!) and the food kept on coming. From steak and foie gras to giant prawns with roe and foam to the smokey fish dish pictured complete with a test-tube with a bizarre green concoction it was an experience I won't quickly forget!
