We have been travelling through Europe with out two border Collies. Finding decent hotels that accept dogs is difficult. And even when we find them, they may not be nice to the dogs. Hotel Bilbi, had a clean accesible room and allowed our two dogs. The employees where friendly and considerate, the room was small but functional. The bathroom was clean. Hot water takes a while to arrive but when it does it does. Would visit again.

Read mixed reviews about the Bilbi but we were very pleased with the value for money.
The rooms are clean and spacious and I would say this is more like a 3star not a 2 star. Hotel staff are very helpful, the receptionist was very helpful and spoke fantastic English.
We used the hotel parking for a fee but that was ok and worth the money as the parking wasn't great in the area.
The location is very good within easy walking distance of the old town.
If you walk 5 minutes down to the river there is lots of lovely bars and tapas places.
I read some negative reviews about the area surrounding the Bilbi. We saw nothing at all.

Only a two star, but better than many three stars we have stayed in!

It’s been said in other reviews, but the reception staff are first class, all the gentlemen on reception we dealt with were wonderful.

The hotel is NOT in the red light district, though our satnav did drive us through the area on our way in to Bilbao!

The cafe across the way does a great breakfast, the parking garage is easy to use, but I would advise booking, as parking near the hotel is expensive.

The room was comfortable, the hotel is so handy for everything.

Only problem, when we were there the WiFi was a bit intermittent.

We would recommend and we will use it again.

This is a charming little hotel, clean and tidy but what makes it stand out is the good manners and helpful attitude of the staff, in particular the two men we met at reception. They could not have been more helpful and were obviously very proud of their city.
The hotel is 'no frills' and is close to the old town and the Guggenheim. There are lots of good quality restaurants nearby mostly dog friendly as was the hotel. We spent two days in Bilbao and could happily have spent more.
Well worth a visit

Read mixed reviews about the Bilbi but we were very pleased with the value for money.
The location is very good within easy walking distance of the old town.
Rooms are clean and there is more room than many a budget hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful.
No breakfast but there is a vending machine in reception. 2 minutes walk across the road is a Spanish bar for continental breakfast. Good quality and value.
If you walk 5 minutes down to the river there is a place opposite the market that does a very reasonable full english. You cannot miss the market as it has an escalator outside. This is worth a visit itself because the tapas available inside are incredible.
I read some negative reviews about the area surrounding the Bilbi. We saw nothing detrimental at all. There is in fact a lovely bar 1 minute away directly left as you come out of the hotel.Serves very good food particularly the boards. Cheese, sausages etc.
Very reasonable prices on the beer and wine.
