Hotel is in a good location for getting to the Guggenheim and the old town for walking and pinxtos. Parking is available underground (not cheap, but convenient). Staff is helpful and food is reasonably priced in the bar, though we chose to eat elsewhere all nights except one. Rooms are clean, TVs have a good number of English channels, and wireless internet is included. Would definitely recommend if looking for an option that is walking distance from both the old town and the museum.

We specially book our hotels on Spain trips on Hesperia hotels because you know what you get.
This hotel is located about 10 minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and about 20 minute walk from the city centre. The Casco Viejo is a 10 minute walk and far more fun then the city center.
The hotel itself is good and nice. We had an extreme big tv in our 2 persons room and liked the fridge of the minibar to use for our own drinks. :)

Stayed at the Hesperia for four nights and couldn't fault it. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel as we didn't want a full breakfast so went to the Artxanda Bar around the corner for breakfast and had two coffees, one large croissant and toast and jam for 5 Euro compared to the hotel's very expensive, but looked lovely, breakfast. We did this because we wanted to do Menu Del Dia at lunch time (three courses, wine, water and bread for between 10 to 15 Euro per person at lunch time. Bar prices were very good in the evening with wine being 9 Euro a bottle.

The hotel is very convenient for the Guggenheim (you can see it from the hotel) and 10=15 minute walk into the Old Town. Very convenient. If we go back we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: We had a floor on the 6th floor (611) which was quite large with a King Size bed. Velux window at back of hotel. Very quiet location.

Hotel is modern, clean and quite trendy. Food in the restaurant and bar was good and not expensive. Sitcom did not work the first night but they did fix for the second night- apparently and problem for all visitors that night! WiFi worked initially but stopped on the first morning and remained that way for the rest of our stay.
Staff were friendly and generally spoke good English. Would be happy to stay there again as the location is great for the old town and the Gouggenhiem.
