Travelled with 3 friends to Bilbao mid November 2012 and this hotel was perfect for the trip. The location is very central and the Guggenheim, old town, Funicular de Artxanda and San Mames stadium are all only a short walk away. The rooms were modern, spacious and extremely clean but lacked character. The hotel staff were very efficient. Ideal for a group of lads on a long weekend or a business trip but I think I would look elsewhere if travelling with the family.

The hotel is very well situated in the middle of Bilbao, near shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the Guggenheim. The rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The reception staff all speak English and are very helpful.

We only stayed one night at this excellent hotel. Service is friendly. This is probably the best hotel room we stayed at during our 3 week Europe trip. The room is super spacious and spotlessly clean, same with the shower and bath. Location is also very good. Would stay here again!

A very large room by Euro standards, with a small love seat, desk, chair, and movable table; a smaller TV with BBC and CNBC in English. There´s a refrigerator and safe, but no drawer space, just a couple of shelves in the closet. The hotel is located about a 20 minute direct walk to the Guggenheim, or 30 minutes if you take the river walk. It´s also about a 5 minute walk to the old town and to the train station, though the bus station is about a mile away (though it´s not a hard walk; good sidewalks and either flat or downhill). It´s also next door to a real casino.
The room has a nice bath, and the bed has high quality sheets, though they use a single long pillow, which I didn´t find comfortable. My room was quiet, though it faced the interior, and you can get some interior noise from thin walls.
Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, chopped up hot dogs (which the Europeans apparently think pass for sausage to tourists), a potato quiche, the usual Euro meat and cheese tray, fresh fruit and juice, and fresh ground coffee self-service from a machine.
The staff spoke English, and check-in was very helpful, with a map and suggestions.
I was very happy with my stay.

Room Tip: When you enter, you need to use the elevator to go to reception on the next floor up
