These were the only vacation apartments advertised on the Bilbao tourism website. My wife and I stayed in a spacious two bedroom apartment for a week in April/May. There was a nice view over the river. The apartment was clean, newish and not very comfortably furnished. It was also sparsely equipped — one kitchen knife that could hardly cut an orange.
The strong point was the location. Although the apartment building itself is in undistinguished surroundings, it's about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town — Casco Viejo. The useful No 77 bus stops 50 metres downhill from the building and the fast metro and the pleasant tram to the Guggenhein are 10 minutes away. There's a supermarket and the Ribera food hall 5 minutes walk away.
Other strong points: professional and helpful staff, sun terrace (it rained), gym, an effort at interior decoration, wi-fi.
Weak points: ordinary, charmless, expensive (accommodation & underground parking €100 a night), no balconies.
