Wonderful company!! We did the 200 km self guided tour. We had it arranged for last year but with COVID it was cancelled. They honored our reservations for another year, did not change the pricing and were very accommodating. We worked with Elba who was an absolute joy and wonderful help through some challenging times with COVID. Our kick off guide Jeffrey was excellent and we did get to meet the owner, Alex, who was very pleasant and kind as well. I highly recommend this company and will likely book again when I head back to Spain!!

It is now 12 months since we walked the Camino from León to Santiago de Compostela with Fresco tours. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about the experience. A week doesn’t go by without my wife and I chatting about it. Living life at walking pace is something everyone should try. We weren’t sure that we would be fit enough, but we surprised ourselves. Fresco Tours was recommended to us and we were continuously delighted by the quality of the accommodation, the food; the knowledge of our tour guides; and the wonderful company of our fellow pilgrims. Should have done it years ago! We hope to join Fresco’s Portuguese Camino sometime in 2021.

Great to hear from you and so happy to hear that the memory of Fresco Tours and the Camino is vivid in your minds! It truly is a remarkable journey that leaves more than a footprint! I've been reliving my past 20 years along the trail via our #FrescoToursVirtualCamino, which we have been sharing via social media. The good things is that there are no blisters, but there also are no gourmet picnics! Hope all is well - stay health and keep safe.

We had a wonderful self-guided tour with Fresco Tours from Ponferrada, Spain to Santiago de Compostela. History, architecture, nature, new friends, delicious food--this trip had it all. The staff at fresco tours was attentive to detail, from start to finish. Kudos to Elba and Alissa for their efficiency and kindness. we are booking another tour-- from Portugal this time!

Challenging self guided hike, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. But what a most rewarding personal experience! Our group did wonder whether Elba (Fresco Tours) ever sleep as she was always there with her reassuring responses to our needs, pre Camino.
The local guides Ana (Sarria) and Xavier ( Santiago de Compostela) rose beyond their duties. If there is ever a need to do the Camino, the place to start is with Fesco Tours.

We started our Camino in Sarria with Fresco Tours. You do not need to look any further as Fresco tours is absolutely the best! They are very organized and very responsive to emails (thank you Raul and Elba) They provide you with the best accommodations, transfer of luggage, daily maps with restaurant suggestions, attractions, restrooms, etc. I plan to walk the camino again in 2 years with Fresco Tours.
