What a lovely meal! Anchovies with cheese/cream accompaniment to start - complex and tasty and lovely. Beautiful (rare) entrecôte for main. And an interpretation of a pear tart (slightly deconstructed) for pudding. Lovely lovely lovely. Not a complaint but I'm slightly puzzled that the starter and desert were so complex when the main was so (beautifully) simple. Why? And yes the lighting is a tad too bright. But it's a very pleasant dining environment even so. Efficient service. And it was quite busy for a Monday evening.
