Excellent sidrería (if you like sidra) that serves typical Asturian munchies. We had the plate of cheeses that was very good and enough for three people. Waiters very helpful for making the menu plain in Castilian Spanish. Really enjoyable!

It was our first visit to a sidreria, cider bar in Oviedo. We searched our the famous cider street Gascona. La Finca was the first cider bar we came to. The young waiter brought us a bottle of cider and proceeded to pour it rhrough the air quite impressive but it does make the surrounding area sticky! Our friend poured out the cider when we should have left it for the waiter to come round again and pour it for us!! Tastes like Devon scrumpy!!

When visiting Asturias, I heard eating on Calle Gascona was a must. I was told all the restaurants are very similar, but it's hard to believe any could be as good as La Finca. The food was typical Asturian, and I hardly understood the menu (I was with a Spaniard who had trouble as well). The waiter was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions and offered great recommendations. Each table had its own cider tap too, which was different and fun. We ordered a few dishes, but you can't miss the croquetas--they're the best I've had in Spain. Overall, wonderful experience and great meal.

Went looking for the famed food street of Gascona in Oviedo. Heard Asturian food is something to be experienced. Having seen these prepackaged bean and meat all over the old city decided to try it for myself. Fabada asturiana: bean and chorizo, ham and black sausage stew of some sort. Delicious and very welcome on a chilly day.
La Finca is a Sidreria and sells the local cider poured from a length to add air and bubbles to the drink. It's not a sweet cider and a bit sour but interesting to watch it being poured.
