This was our first stay at this AC hotel. The location is fantantastic and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff was average at best.
Only warning was getting to the actual hotel following gps instructions. The gps never actually took us to the hotel’s main entrance. Beware of parking and VERY tight turns.

Included in out Gate 1 tour. Apparently run by Marriott. Clean bathroom but a little cramped based on previous locations on tour. There was first communion party in restaurant one floor below. A little loud but I was not going to move. Breakfast OK.

This hotel is enormous. My room (412) faced the plaza above the train station, and one could occasionally hear the rumble of trains directly under the hotel. Wifi is free and fast.

The room was large; ditto the bathroom and separate toilet and bidet, which were very modern, but the bathroom lacked a power point. The shower was over the bath.

It was freezing (11 degrees outside), and the air conditioning for heating had been switched off. "Sorry madam, cooling only"!!!  I could see the snow on the mountains from my window. The room lacked  coffee/tea facilities. And don't bother turning on the TV if you only speak English.

The location is good, with a supermarket next door and escalators down to the main street.

Reception staff are friendly, helpful, and speak English.

Breakfast was generally OK, but there were no eggs to order, and the scrambled eggs were lukewarm and tasteless.

Has supermarket under the building and is walking distance to centre of city and eat streets - even in the frequent rain.
No tea/coffee or wine glasses in room.
Great bathroom all covered in marble with good shower.
However breakfast needs some attention. We had been told Spaniards cannot cook scrambled eggs and this breakfast confirmed this while we have found it to be untrue elsewhere. Stone cold and tasted odd. Bacon was undercooked. Plenty of other choices so avoid hot options.

Quiet and clean rooms right on top of the Oviedo train station and steps from the bus terminal. Right across the street you'll find the "Wine Street" with a lot of great restaurants, cafes and cider places.
