We decided to stay in the hotel because of its excellent location. We had planned a weekend of classic motorbike touring of South Western and coastal Asturias.
The rooms were spacious with good lighting and wide (180cm) beds. So comfortable that one couple asked for details to buy the same mattress! Needless to say we all had 2 very good night's sleep.
Both the rooms and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. I don't know how the chambermaid did it but the carpets showed no vacuum cleaner tracks, though when you walked on the carpet you left footprints!
We needed the air conditioning as it was very warm, and were very grateful for it when we came back from our ride.
The breakfast was very good. The cost was similar if not cheaper than nearby bars, with much better quality and service.
I very much enjoyed my stay, and hope to return next year, weather permitting.
We didn't use the free taxi service to and from the Plaza de America in central Oviedo, but a lot of other guests did.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.

We stayed here for four nights in the middle of September and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is located at the top of a steep hill approximately 25 minutes walk to the centre of Oviedo. It is a pleasant walk down in the sunshine and a good work-out for the legs coming back up!! The free taxi shuttle service that takes you up and down the hill runs from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm and was very useful, especially so for us on the one evening which was wet.
The staff are all very helpful and friendly with the rooms being pleasant, comfortable and clean. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window.
We eat in the hotel restaurant on two occasions and the food was good. We also had breakfast each morning which was very reasonably priced and you could choose from cereals, toast, pastries, eggs, toasted sandwiches.
All in all a very good value hotel where we were made to feel very welcome.

I stayed here along with my family for two nights in August and I have to say I wasn't at all impressed.

The 'Balconies' were just there to house the air conditioning unit, the internet didn't work for most of the first day and the restaurant is only open for breakfast or dinner and then only for tapas. For that matter the building itself is pretty horrendous but I suppose that isn't the proprietors fault that's what they've been left to work with.

On the bright side the rooms are bright and clean and the food at the restaurant was very good but really for an allegedly four star hotel I would expect a lot better. The views however are quite something, especially from the car park so I suppose its not all bad.

A group of 11 of us stayed here. Very nice hotel. Clean. Nice to have air conditioning. Friendly staff. As our flight home on the last day wasn't until the evening, the hotel allowed us to use our rooms until after the check-out time, which was very helpful as two of our group were ill and needed to rest. Sonia, our waitress at breakfast, was very helpful and always pleasant. The lady on reception was also very helpful when we needed to call out a doctor who had some understanding of English. The only downside was that the restaurant didn't open during the day so if we stayed in the hotel we couldn't get a meal and it also meant we couldn't get a drink either. We also had a problem with the safe in the room I was in and the receptionist wouldn't come up to see what the problem was so we were unable to use the safe all week.

The price alone would give this place five stars, but the rooms were great, too. They were clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay here. The only bad thing we have to say is that the wi-fi is terrible. It's spotty, slow, and sometimes non-existent. Other than that, we'd stay here again.
