We wanted to make sure we had authentic asturian fare while in Gijon. Found this place on trip advisor, and being on a budget, well, you know how that goes.
This restaurant was pleasant, clean and right near the beach. The server (maybe owner?) was lovely and gracious, which we actually haven't found a lot of in much of Spain, so that was really refreshing. We ordered a salad to share and it was enormous. We also ordered the fabada and a seafood feature. Both were tasty, but not amazing, if that makes sense. Would I go back? Maybe, but would probably try someplace else next time as I tend to be a bit of a food adventurer. But this was a nice experience.
