Right in the centre, meaning great location, at 33 euros for a single room (with totally acceptable en suite) this place is excellent value. Clean & simple room. Much better than some "pensiones" nearby that charge almost as much. Recommended for those travelling on a budget.

It has everything you would want from a basic hotel. It's not going to win any beauty awards, but it does exactly as you need for a sleep and shower. Accommodation isn't cheap in Gijón, but this place isn't astronomically priced so its good on that basis. And you really can't beat its central location - 5 minutes walk to the Alsa/bus station, 10 minute walk to the old town, right on the main shopping street... etc. My room had a fan as its only cooling mechanism aside from the street-viewing window, which was a little noisy on high speeds due to speed rattle, but the lowest speed kept me cool and wasn't a bother.

Room tip: I was in x45 - so maybe try for something similar if you want an outside-facing room?

Good central location, but public parking is expensive. Local to shopping and restaurants. Wifi and to good. Service friendly and helpful. I did not have breakfast here. Prices very good for central location.

A good location hotel and the service from reception staff was always polite and pleasant. The room we had was at the front corner with street view. Noise was from the street entertainers, which if you like amateur opera you will like and if you do not like piano accordion playing non locals, not so good.
The room - this was very small and even with just a bed and small hall type table, it was difficult to manoeuvre around the room. The en-suite was the smallest I have ever seen, so small no proper door but a plastic concertina door with magnetic catch. All in all it was a good value establishment and did the job for a 2 night stay due to its location.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the front, will get more natural light

The location is great and the staff is nice and friendly. A lot of rooms have their windows towards the interior of the hotel which leaves you with almost no natural light - a very inconvenient feeling. More, each morning a bad small comes from the kitchen. If you want a key to the safety box you need to leave 20 euros at the reception.
